“Great geographical range”

There are several things I like about booking.com - the main one is that they have a good choice of places to stay in out of the way locations. Most bookings sites just do the big cities. But with booking.com I can easily find a variety of places to stay in rural France, Spain, Wales or Iceland, small town America...and the big cities too.

Another good feature is that they cover a variety of different types of property. So on the current trip to southern France we have booked a hotel, an apartment, a house in a mediaeval village, and a villa in a holiday village, all for 2 or 3 nights each.

And finally, most of the places they deal with don't require payment upfront - just a credit card number to guarantee the booking.
