Good Points
What can I say, It's Cheap.
Bad Points
Many of the functions are flawed, and the quality is not desirable.
General Comments
The Sony Ericsson T230 is very flawed, firstly the phone freezes constantly. In the middle of phone calls, playing games, writing messages it will freeze and the only way to unfreeze it is by taking out the battery. I took it in to be repaired, after a software upgrade it is still freezing.
Seccondly is the screen quality, the display is very grainy, also too much lighting makes it very hard to see writing on the screen.
Another Flaw is the predective text, it is some what complicated. When a word is added that is not in the dictionary, it shows up in the letter list every time the first letter is pressed. And after a while the lists become massive. The ability to enter in numbers is also limited to scrolling through the list to get each number, as there is no numerical mode.
I have also had my speaker replaced 5 times in 8 months, this is NOT because of rough treatment either. Sony Ericsson has also refused to replace the phone for a new one, even though my phone has been repaired a ridiculous number of times.
All over I found this phone to be riddled with problems, it might look like a good buy, but it's NOT.
