Fleetway Travel are an excellent company and very supportive
We travelled by Thos Cook Airlines and found the flight very difficult
as I have a disability and could not get a seat with extra legroom
the gentleman in front had is seat back the whole of the way and therefore I had to spend the whole flight in pain as there were no spare seats
However the food was excellent a huge improvement on previous airline food.
We were booked into The Merlin Beach Park Hotel Alanya there were three problems here
Firstly the website states that it is only 50 meters from the beach via an underpass...this is incorrect as this is only true of its sister hotel the Merlin Beach Hotel this caused considerable problems as it is more like half a mile and my disability made it difficult for me to get to the beach,
Second they put me on the fourth floor and for 99% of the time only one lift was working which was also used by the staff and one one occasion we tried using a second lift we got stuck in it and had to be lifted out.
Third The accommodation was very basic and certainly did not deserve the four star rating it claims
However the food was excellent and the staff were friendly however very little no English was spoken.
A2B transfers were appalling the driver taking us did not know the way and it took over 3 hours to get there he then dropped us off at the wrong hotel, luckily the hotel transported us to the right one. it took half an hour on a roaming mobile phone to arrange the return transport and eventually they sub contracted it and the driver was excellent.
There was no contact with the you travel rep just a note with a phone number for contact I couldn't get a reply
Despite all of this we had a good holiday and have no hesitation in recommending Fleetway Travel
