“LEAVE ME ALONE!”

A gentleman I spoke to on the telephone stated that Consumer Lifestyles are responsible for the 3-6 cold calls I receive per day, every day, between 9am and 9pm from the Indian subcontinent. Apparently this due to the the person whom previously had this telephone number signing up to a competition of theirs.

Calls from them have been abusive, and manipulative (finding out I am not the person they originally called for but then insisting I answer questions to stop them calling in future!). I am also pretty sure they are responsible for a computer "Virus removal" scam call I received.

The calls still persist after requesting several times that my number be removed from their database. I feel I have been left with no choice but to ask my telephone service provider to change my number.
