After making a booking several months in advance I needed to change the return date. I tried to do it online on numerous occasions, in vain. So I tried to call on numerous occasions, in vain; I was disconnected twice, couldn't get through once, gave up twice, after waiting for 30 minutes, may I add that I live in Sweden and the Hertz customer service centre is in the UK.
I mailed and asked the customer service to make the change for me, they couldn't...?
I was about to give up and cancel my booking, so I tried to call one last time. Hallelujah! I got through after only(!) 15 minutes calling from Sweden to the UK.
I a seriously considering never using Hertz again, I shall tell my friends family and work about this experience.
