“Worst service ever and dirty car”

Arrived at Gatwick airport and told pick up would be in 15 mins. 40 mins later, standing outside in cold and rain, still no pick up. Phoned service centre and told someone would be there in 10 mins. Eventually, after 1 hr 10 mins in freezing cold, pick up arrived. No apology forthcoming. Arrived at portacabin in ind. estate and after short wait, was presented with a car which was filthy inside and out and smelt of stale cigaretter smoke. Fuel tank empty also. Asked to see the manager who insisted that 'all our cars are washed between hires' until I took her to look at the car and she had to admit that the car was filthy. Offered to wash it, but as I was now over two hours late, I said I would take it as is. A grudging apology at best. Never again!
