Last Easter (2012) we flew to Goa with Thomson - premium seats, 4 hours into the flight my bum ached so much I decided to sit on the cushion thing they give you to put round your neck - that never helped, by the time we arrived in Goa I was so glad to get off that plane. So, this Easter we flew Havana with Virgin.
Booking - Easy, staff in store (Tesco Walsall) very helpfull and knowledgeable and if they were uncertain about anything they e-mailed collegues to confirm. I know its their job but 10/10
Tickets - bit of a pain, for some reason we were unable ''select our seats'' until 24 hrs prior to departure but we were told we would be seated together,
logged on 24 hrs prior to departure and found we had been allocated seats upstairs on the 747. very happy. Return - well logged on on our last night but ''select seats'' was not available. Seats allocated on arrival at Havana Airport - not what I would have selected but together so reasonably happy.
Flight - Seats comfortable (no need to sit on neck cushion thingy)
Food - Good, enjoyed it all.
Service - Attentive stewardesses
Entertainment - They had a tech prob and showed return flight films so on the return flight..... we had seen everything already!
V Lounge at Manchester Airport - great, deffo use again
Would absolutely fly Virgin again.
