Vodafone should be embarrassed. Look at all these reviews with one star for a company of their size. I moved from O2 to Vodafone and I have 6 months left before I can escape and get back to a mobile provider with whom I can actually get a signal (both mobile and data) with any sort of consistency. From Catford to Crystal Palace to Balham to Clapham to Shepherds Bush hardly any signal and calls and data dropped more often than available. Very poor. I can see the nearest mobile phone mast from my front room on a nearby pylon but I still have to stand in the garden to get maybe 2 bars signal (on three different phones I've tried with (HTC Desire HD, HTC Incredible & I-phone 4).

It's speaks volumes that the best reception I get ever from Vodafone is when I am roaming in Europe or the USA when the reception and data service I receive are fantastic. But that's because Vodafone aren't providing it.

Honestly, anyone looking at switching to Vodafone due to tariffs offered or cashback site incentives, DON'T. You will be stuck for probably 2 years of frustration and no chance of using all that data or free minutes because your device just won't be connected for long enough.
