“The company ceased trading and no refund”

I'd previously had a good experience from this company. However, I bought a voucher for laser hair removal. Having used it twice as part of a course of 6, the company ceased trading. I have been emailing kgb, who say they now can;t refund directly to the card but I'll need a cheque which takes time to raise from the financial department. 8 weeks later and still waiting ...... impossible to contact via telephone, and will occasionally respond to an email when the small claims court is mentioned.

I've now realised they're just fobbing me off, so will initiate proceedings if no reply with a date of refund within 24 hours.
