“Woeful customer service from start to finish!”

Where to start?! My card was blocked when making an internet order as Argos separated it out into 3 different orders for no apparent reason, causing my credit card company to suspect fraudulent activity. Then customer services supposedly arranged a suspended order while I sorted this out, when I phoned back there was no record of it.

When I eventually received the goods, some were missing, and a rubbish bin I'd ordered was smashed to bits. I received no apology and was told I'd have to wait in (7am until 6pm) for it to be collected. This demonstrated a total lack of trust and if I was a shareholder I'd be extremely unhappy about money being wasted collecting a bag of broken plastic from a customer, especially when even intact the bin would only cost £8!

Absolutely terrible company that quite frankly deserves to go under. You might pay a bit more at the likes of John Lewis but it's more than worth it.
