“All Insurance Covered”

I hired cars from Ecconomy Car Rental(ECR) recently in New Zealand via Internet. It was easy and I got my rental confirmation quickly. I had a good trip with cars from its local partner.

One very good thing is ECR covering all insurance thus I have no need to purchase additional insurance. Unfortunately, a small accident happened and I caused a small damage of the car. I reported this to them and filled damage report (hiding is not good). After price is determined (reasonable), I then claim from ECR. After submit necessary document, I got the amount refund. It takes time to do claim but it is worthy in comparison to purchase expensive insurance from renters.

Cars from its local partner are not brand new but no problem for trip. My cars were always ready before I check-in. If you are not satisfy with the car they allocate, you can ask for a change. Cars are clean. I do suggest anyone who pick cars take photos of cars with local background on top of checking pre-existing damage of your cars because even rental companies are not able to identify all in the checking list and renters may not find all. To be fair, its local parnter generally waive small details such as scratches on body.

I recommend people to rent through ECR. Its no excess insurance coverage with rental is really great.
