im 15. i started working at mcdonald's about a month ago. working the till seems like the easiest job out there and frankly i agree but that's not what i thought starting out. a cranky customer would come in and i would start freaking out, praying that i wouldnt mess up the order. im sure i looked inexperienced and very unprofessional but i couldnt help it. some people are just so intimidating. then there would be those kind souls that encouraged and acknowledged that you were new and still learning, those are the types of people who helped me become the person i am today, not only at work but in life all around, i now feel more confident and secure. its sometimes hard to remember that the person behind the till isnt just there for the money, they do actually want to help you, so take a little patience and help them to help you!
