The first impression that was given by the tele sale`s adviser who was dealing with my changing over to Virgin media for my B/Band , Viewing and Land Line package was very good and at the time the deal she quoted me seemed at first glance a very good package to take up .
This i did with two £5.00 per month sim only deals from Virgin mobile for me and my Wife . This action has proven to be one of my biggest mistakes i have made in any of my financial dealings for some considerable time .
The title may seem a strongly worded and a abrupt title to use but that is just what i have experienced in my experience and dealings with Virgin Mobile and it staff in any matters regarding my two accounts which have incidentally cost me at the last count a little under £250.00 IN BANK CHARGES due to the total lack of any semblance of professional behavior from Virgin Mobile Staff in any conversations i have had cause to have with them in regards to either of our accounts .
The contacts i have had with Virgin Mobile Customer Service have all been prompted on the SIM Only package Deals from Virgin Mobile and the vast majority have all followed the same pattern 1/ Complaint 2/ Apology 3/ Promise of remedial action 4/ Action taken resulting in a bigger problem occurring .
The over view of Virgin Mobiles method of operation with there version of customer service is as follows in my opinion .
They say one thing do another that results in some thing totally different happening than what you requested and this results in you either loosing service altogether or being billed to much for the service you require .
The complaints process is not to put to fine a point on it a JOKE period it is always due to technical difficulties and the reimbursement process in cases of over payment or when you have had bank charges levied on you through Virgins actions or inactions is at best very long winded and at worst non existent .
I work myself in a call center for a multi national energy company and have worked at all levels from service agent to trainer over a period of 15 years i can honestly say with out a shadow of a doubt and without setting my expectations to high as a customer of Virgin Mobile they have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS i have dealt with the main problem in this is that it is tarnishing the reputation and standing in the media industry of a perfectly good , well organized and well run company in Virgin Media
This review is just a short insight into my problems i have had at the hands of Virgin Mobile if i were to give a comprehensive description of what experiences i have been through in the short time i have been a customer then i would still be typing this time next year .
My honest advice to anybody looking for a mobile phone either sim only or contract is If at all possible steer well clear of Virgin Mobile or be prepared to face the consequence`s which may cost you a good deal of money through no fault of your own as in experience .
