“Why dont Ford tell the truth about fuel consumption?”

I recently purchased a one year old Fiesta with just 2500 miles on the clock. Having had a Vauxhall Vectra Diesel which with my style of driving and doing 70 miles each day on the motorway I could get approx 55 mpg.
I was expecting to get the claimed 67 mpg that Ford say is possible. The best I can attain is 1 mpg less than the Vectra 54 mpg and that is not going over 65 mph and carefull acceleration etc in town. Big dissapointment.
