“Disgusting overpriced rubbish”

Written on: 04/05/2012

I went on Sunday 29th April 2011 with my wife, son and his fiance to Cafe Rouge on Deansgate, Manchester. What a nightmare experience with regard to the quality of food.
I ordered 'Bauette 200g' - this was like eating undercooked cartilage
My wife ordered 'Coqau-vin'- this was 3 drumsticks covered in a grey tasteless sauce.
My son ordered 'Boeuf Bourguignon - something vaguley edible in a sea of watery gravey.
The final dish was 'Minute Steak' - small meat like portion, but mainly fat.

I eat regularly in Manchester but this is the worst experience I have ever had as well as being overpriced , the only consolation is that I had Tesco Vouchers.
