both myself and daughter have had two not at fault incidents in my car which was agreed by Aviva. An apparently uninsured driver went into the back of me. I managed to get the car registration and make and model of car and the drivers name and address. So why almost two years down the line are we still waiting for our premium to go back to the previous amount. Their policy states that if you have been hit by a non insured driver you will not lose your no-claims discount. Our monthly premiums have almost trebled whilst they have been 'sorting it out'. This happened in November 2010 and we have been told that it is going to be a further ten weeks before things are finalised, if they ever will be. We are being constantly fobbed off with excuses. You do all the right things by having car insurance for if anything happens yet you get no support whatsover when you need it. It questions whether it is worth taking out car insurance if this is the way you are treated.
