“Not worth the effort”

The card is sort of OK but the restrictions they place on doing anything with it make it just not worth the bother... If you load your card with a currency and want to change it to another currency for another trip then this cant be done, if you want to talk to someone about a transaction on your card then you are waiting in the sort of queue that makes your hair turn grey...

I used my card to preauthorise a hotel, and they would not return the money until they had kept it for 30 days, yes you heard it right 30 days!!!!!! When questioning this I was told "thats just what we do!" , how is that for a rubbish explanation.

In future I will just take cash and travellers cheques, the cash passport is a good idea ruined by very poor implementation...

If I had known how amazingly inflexible the card was I would not have bothered, Oh and do yourself a favour and look at the form you have to fill in if you have a disputed transaction... Talk about putting 100 obsticles in your way...

Sigh,Travellex cash passport, in my opinion just not worth the bother.
