I purchased a new tom-tom sat nav on Saturday afternoon. I tried to use it on Sunday but it was broken, it would not connect for a signal. I returned it back to the Birmingham perry bar store first thing Monday morning and asked for a replacement. The manager was very very rude and point blank refused. I had the reciept, I had only had the thing for less than two days, but he refused. Infact, when I pointed out that under consumer law I was entitled to a replacement or a refund, he shouted at me to get out of his store. When I refused to move, he called the police and told them that I had threatened him. The police told me that I couldn't go back into the store and I had to contact head office. Which I did.
When I called them, I was told that it was up to me to send the item back to Tom Tom and they were having nothing to do with it. I have never known such terrible service. I will never spend a penny with comet again.
