Our son made a claim and the repair garage was miles away, the garage told him he had to pick the car up, after arguing with them pointing out that they should delivery as stated in his insurance terms, they finally said they would, but he would have to take their driver back. He end up doing 4 trips of some distance and with todays fuel prices this start to add up. They were also very rude to him at the garage and insurance company.
I have since had to claim on my car after someone hit it in a car park and did not own up. I explained my reasons for not want to use the same garage and finally they said I would use the local garage who lent me a courtesy car during the repairs. Admiral said I just had to let them know the registration of the car and I would be covered. When I phoned them with it they wanted to charge me between £25 and £40 for the 2 days. So I guess you get what you pay for. I will be definitely going back to More Than.
