“UNBELIEVABLE RUDE AND INEFFICIENT STAFF”

Will Liverpool Airport ever get its act together. When you visit a City with a reputation for its friendly people .. you expect the same from the staff at Liverpool Airport. But no, they are extremely rude .. they are of the opinion that you have paid for a flight that you want/need to take and they are going to stamp their authority on you because if you complain they can delay you and make you miss your flight. Whilst I appreciate that security is a very serious business it is handled in many, many other airports without the rudeness experienced in Liverpool Airport. One might excuse their rudeness if they were EFFICIENT, but they are not, hence the need for the fast-track lane where you pay £4.00 to get through security because they are so inefficient they can't guarantee to get you through on time. They are also inconsistent; they told the woman in front of me that the plastic bag for her toiletries was 1" too large and she had to purchase a new plastic bag (more money to Liverpool Airport) and rejoin an already inexcusably long queue which was moving very slowly and then I noticed the same surly woman giving a lady a free plastic bag because of the same reason. Awful experience.
