“Wish I'd found it earlier”

I have an overseas holiday home and need to send money over to pay bills and for living expenses when I visit. I have been using my UK bank to transfer money and although the rate was quite good the charge for the transfer made it quite expensive. However with HiFX you get the best of both worlds - the rates are good and the charge for the transaction is much better - free if you send out more than £3000. Not only that but with the website it means I can transfer money while away - something I don't often do but in the past it has been a problem not having easy access to foreign currency. The best bit however was the great customer service that I received when making my first transfer. I was a bit nervous and wasn't sure about some of the technical issues so rang to ask for some help - the young lady was very knowledgable and didn't mind that I was not that savvy about the whole thing. She talked me through everything and answered all my questions with patience. At the end she said that if I did have problems I could ring back and somebody would talk me through the process. In the end I managed to make the transfer - it was as easy as she said it would be - the transaction took place within the timescale promised and I was kept informed of the process the whole time via e-mail.
Overall I was very impressed. I will be using HIFX for all my future transactions and wish I'd found it earlier.
