“Wiltshire sideboard very poor quality”

Sideboard was ordered to match a bookcase ordered a couple of years ago.

Item arrived damaged with marks on top as had been stored upside down.
The sides of both drawers were cracked.

The cream painted finish only refers to the outside. The inside is completely rough, bare wood.

The top of the drawer fronts are only half painted so that if not fully shut the half painted area is visible. The tops and sides of the doors are similarly half painted so the doors have to be completely closed or the rough areas are exposed. When the doors are fully open then obviously all the bare wood is on view.

The bookcase is painted on all surfaces except the back. No-where in either the paper catalogue or the on-line catalogue is mention made of the fact that a large area of the sideboard will be unfinished. The item looks either half finished or just very poor quality whereas the bookcase looks very nice.

From placing the order to receipt of order bore no resemblance to the promised delivery time.
