I previously managed to lose weight on my own by counting calories. This time around, I was struggling to find the motivation to calculate it all myself. Tesco Diets provided a good alternative. I chose to just go on a healthy eating plan but there are options for more special diets, e.g. low fat, or GI.
The computer generates meal plans for a week which you can swap or alter to suit your own tastes. I tried a few recipes but it also allowed me to eat what I normally ate and learn what was a sensible portion size. The flexibility was very good. It is also constantly improving, the website changed several times (for the better) while I was a member.
I managed to lose 8kg over about 4 months then my weight plateaued for the rest of the time. Since I was happy with my new weight, I decided to stop my membership.
I used Clubcard vouchers to pay for it which made it very cheap for 3 months.
