I purchased 3 tickets on March 7th 2012 for the Dodgers baseball game from Vivid Seats online (www.vividseats.com). The game was to take place on April 15th 2012 and were a present for my boyfriend's birthday. On March 6th I received an email stating that they had been shipped via Fed Ex and would be delivered soon. After a couple of weeks of not having received the tickets my boyfriend called Vivid Seats to find out where the tickets were. They said they had sent out the confirmation email in error but they would send them out soon. On Friday before the Sunday game, the tickets had still not arrived. So I called Vivid Seats 4pm Pacific time and received a message they were closed for the day. Knowing I would not be able to contact them Saturday as my schedule did not permit it I reviewed my order form email and saw that "some tickets may be delivered as late as the week of the event" and hoped for the best they would be delivered on Saturday. They were not. Sunday came and so my whole birthday present for my boyfriend turned out to be ruined. I decided I would call to get a refund on Monday as I wanted to be able to enjoy my boyfriend's birthday with him regardless and not be worrying about tickets that should have come and wasting time. So I called Vivid Seats on Monday April 16th 2012. After being on hold for quite awhile I spoke with a customer service agent who proceeded to put me on hold several more times to find out what was going on with my order. He told me that the tickets were delivered via Fed Ex on April 10th 2012 and were signed for by a name I don't remember because it was not my name or my boyfriend's name. He also stated that he could not give me any kind of refund or make up for this inconvenience in any way. The customer service was very unhelpful and dismissive. This is the worst merchandise purchasing experience I have ever had and very poor business practices on Vivid Seats part. On Vivid Seats website they state that they have "100% Buyer's Guarantee" and "100% Guaranteed to Receive Full-Service Customer Care" with "You have our full dedication to provide you the industry's best service and protection so that you can focus on enjoying your event rather than shopping or worrying about your tickets! " Meanwhile I have been worrying about my tickets since I placed the order over a month ago. They also have the claim "100% Guaranteed to be Delivered Before the Event" which they were not. I felt powerless in that my money had just been taken without any goods being delivered.
