Had kitchen planner come from one branch of Howdens and was told plans would be emailed following day. After ringing up for a week, eventually had to go in and collect them. Only half a kitchen had been designed.
Decided to go to another branch of Howdens and try again.
Kitchen planner came, planned kitchen but wouldn't give us plans or costing. Had to make appointment to view them.
Was happy with plans and ordered kitchen to be delivered following week.
Had to ring Howdens to find out when it was been delivered.
Half the units were delivered, used doors, no plans or costing.
Had to go back to Howdens to ask where units were and picked them up myself.
Was issued with new costing as they said they omitted units from original cost.
I CANNOT DISPUTE THIS, AS I DON'T HAVE THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENT, AS THEY WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO ME.
AT NO POINT WAS THERE ANY CONTACT TO SAY,'WE' AT HOWDENS OF HULL, WOULD JUST LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT 'YOU' THE CUSTOMER, WILL HAVE TO SPEND ALL YOUR TIME CHASING YOUR ORDER AND WHEN WE GET IT WRONG WE'LL CHARGE YOU 'THE CUSTOMER' FOR IT.
BUSINESSESS ARE FOLDING AND WOULD BEND OVER BACKWARDS FOR YOUR CUSTOM, BUT HOWDENS OF HULL LIKE TO OFFER A POOR SERVICE AND COULDN'T GIVE A MONKEYS ONCE THEY'VE GOT YOUR MONEY.
I won't be using them again when it comes to refurbing my other properties.
