The title expresses my key complaint. Online, every car (and class of car) for rent is shown to have a radio. My automatic -- rented 3/12 from the north airport on Tenerife -- did not. By the time I realized this, I was more than half way down the island. Autoreisen has not responded to two emails asking them for a partial reimbursement. What kind of customer service is that, to just ignore two written complaints?
In addition, upon pickup, the car had an empty tank. I'm a stranger in a strange car in a strange land, zapped from hours of flying, not sure how to get to my hotel, and now I have to go find a gas station. Again, what kind of service is that? To the company's credit, a manager escorted me to the closest station, and filled the tank.
Autoreisen did have a very good rate, and the vehicle was in good condition; however, my recommendation to any foreign traveler would be to go with a major brand (Hertz, Avis, Alamo, etc.). You have a better chance of receiving good service if something goes awry.
