Being a private plate virgin I had no idea what to do, where to start or anything.
Clicked on a number of sites but carreg was by far the easiest to use and search through.
Having bought the plate I wanted and paying for it on my husbands credit card everything arrived by first class post just a couple of days later. Not knowing what to do next I just took everything including MOT and v5 to the local dvla office in Manchester. 10 minutes later I was able to get my plates made up .. All that was left to do was inform my insurance company. From paying my money on line to driving with private plates took 3 days.
