I'm into my 3rd renewal with Admiral now and I had no issues with them at all. Excellent customer service and optional extras to tailor the cover to your needs. I've not had to claim through them for my own accident but due to my job I have spoke to their claims department from a third party perspective on many occasions and I have received the same excellent service.
I've read many of the bad reviews on this site, about lots of insurers. Most of them are due to a complete lack of understanding of how insurance and claims work and the fact that customer expect far to much. Most of the time, its the customer who fails to get any evidence at the scene of an accident and then complains that their insurer isn't doing enough to help them.
Don't believe most of the bad reviews.
