Read on if you are stumbling about deciding to go on a diet - look no further........I sort of stumbled across Tesco Diets on the computer and although I didn't sign up immediately, after 3 days of thinking about it, I joined. Best money I have spent in a long time. I wanted to lose some weight, middle age spread was definitely winning, and on top of that, I had another incentive as my son was getting married 14 weeks later. My daughter had reminded me that I wouldn't enjoy seeing the wedding photos if I was a bit chubby. So I began with great enthusiasm and commitment, weighing everything and learning exactly what I needed to do. I have always liked fruit, but never found it very satisfying on any other diet(of which I have done several), but I think because the Tesco Diet is just so balanced and well thought out by the nutritionists, even fruit now satisfies me!! I certainly feel healthier, my skin is looking far healthier and I have more energy. After 10 weeks I had reached my target weight and have now lost an extra 3lbs to make it a stone in total. This stone has made such a difference-I was wearing a snug, often very snug, size 12 and now I almost seem to have a new wardrobe of my new-old clothes that fit me easily. I kept strictly to the plan I chose (Healthy Eating - light choices)and have absolutely loved all the delicious recipes. My favourite is the Chilli Quorn Mince - delicious!!! There have been 2 dishes that left me feeling a bit peckish in 12 weeks!! I record my intake everyday - I'm very competetive and want to know that I have kept my results up in the 90+% range. I swap meals with confidence and eat out with the same feelings - always tracking my meals. I get very enthusiastic about my next days menu and can't believe I am eating an egg, toast, yogurt and an apple all for one breakfast. Sometimes I look at my evening meal and think I am never going to eat it all, but I do. The evening snack is now a real joke with my husband - he would have a Cadbury's cream egg, I would have pretzels and grapes. He now has pretzels, no egg!!!!! The mentor team has been fantastic and readily answered any of my queries in a very personal way which sort of spurred me on so that I wasn't letting them down. I had one bad week (week 3 I think) when I got my knuckles wrapped, quite rightly so, by one of the team mentors but since then I have joined in their delight about my weight loss.
I can thoroughly recommend the tesco Diet - it's so nice to know that my friends have noticed my weight loss and it has not been at all difficult to follow and now I feel thast not only am I going to feel comfortable when the wedding photos are shown around, I shall also be slimmer and healthier for any holidays we may take. I do not intend to ever put that weight on again and with my new attitude towards food I know I won't.
