In February 2012 we rented a car from the Termini station in Rome and after having returned from our vacation we are very surprised to see the invoice sent to us. The Invoice display an extra cost for missing fuel on the car that we rented, this we do not understand since the car that we returned had much more fuel on than when we picked it up. we even have documentation from Maggiore employee who was there when we returned the car. Further the invoice display that we rented a Fiat Panda, which is not the case. We rented a Alfa Mito which was not parked as instructed and together with Maggiore employees we spent almost an hour looking for the car. Further the car was NOT cleaned - it looked like an ashtray when we got it. We were not offered to get another car nor where we offered to wait while the car was being cleaned. But it was agreed that we would get a discount of renting the car - meaning that the price of renting the Alfa Mito would be the same as the Fiat Panda due to the lack of cleaning.
we have tried several times to get Maggiore to explain how this have happened and to get our money back but now two month later we have still not heard anything from them
