With Sky things aren’t always what they seem; when moving house and cutting off services you do have to give 1 months notice even if you're moving in a fortnight they refuse to cut off the phone on the moving date so that the new tenants can make as many phone calls as they like at your expense. We then asked Sky to change the phone to incoming calls only until the contract ran out but they cannot do that either. I sent an email to their complaints department and received an automatic replay saying they have received the email but nothing else, they just completely ignored me which is exactly what I will do the next time they try to sell me services. The phone operators were prompt and polite; the security is good but the service needs to be a lot more flexible. I will NOT use their services again until they get rid of these frustrating and maddening contracts - If I should ask a service provider to change anything on my account I expect it to be done within the hour NOT next month.
