“Couldn`t check my balance”

Got a Euro card. Registering it was a mess but finally succeeded. Could only check the balance in the Uk at an ATM of the Irish bank. Abroad it was even worse, despite trying every ATM I could find. In the long run I just had to keep my receipts and deducting from what I thought the total was. Needless to say my balance was completely different than that which I thought when I checked at the PO in the UK.
Do not get one of these cards!
