“Appalling service avoid”

I ended up with a barclaycard by default as I previously had an Egg credit card, they took over the company. After having not one single issue with my egg card for 10 years, I always paid the balance in full every month. Within 2 months of barclaycard taking over for no apparent reason my direct debit had failed to go through (plenty of money to pay the bill in the account) I was on holiday abroad at the time so phoned them at considerable expense to sort the issue out. They said there was a problem and all charges would be returned. 2 weeks later another £12 charge has been put on the account! I've now had enough and have closed the account. I'd advise you to choose another credit card povider.
