Have got home cover for high risk items out of the house. If a laptop is used "in part or at all for work" its not covered. They claimed stuff stolen from her work was not "looked after or secured responsibly". This is even after police agreed it was a burglary, and the thieves timed their theft to when downstairs door was left open during a delivery being brought down from upstairs.
Goal posts moved as usual, as we had provided receipts and proof for everything stolen, and once we sent all that, they counjured the excuse that she had not secured her things upstairs in her private office properly.
They always use their own opinion to avoid paying out. It seems that its their opinion that the door downstairs was left unlocked and open at the time of the theft. So if a staff member is struggling with a heavy box, they are supposed to unlock, open, go through, close and relock every time?! If this business did that for every time they needed to re-stock, the manager would struggle to maintain an efficiently run business.
This is on-going, and I will not give up.
I HATE SHEILAS WHEELS.
