“They try to squeeze as much out of you as possible!”

The gym itself is fine but woe betide if you ever want to cancel your membership! Mine is currently suspended after I had surgery (paying 25% of the fee) and I have decided to leave the gym as I cannot see me going back in the forseeable future. Guess what - they don't accept termination whilst suspension is in place - in other words, they want payment of the 3 months' notice period at full whack, even though I wouldn't be able to use the gym! The alternative is to give them a doctor's statement of incapacity and they just might let me off with one month at full price. I will never, never join this gym again!
