“A tour with Deborah is worth it!”

written by Janie92 on 22/03/2012

I went to this tour with a friend of mine who has already been with Evans. She told me that it was great so I was really looking forward to it. However, all my expectancies were overcame. We had Deborah as a tour guide and since the first moment she started to speak I could stop being in awe or laugh. She told us so many amazing facts which just stays in your mind and you can't get rid of it. I think that she was the one who made the tour so great and unforgettable. Yes, Warwick castle was nice and we got there early in the morning so it wasn't that busy either yet again, it was Deborah who made the tour enjoyable with her talk about the 38th Earl of Warwick and the recent history of the castle - why it was in possession of Merlin Entertainment group. Stratford was nice too but the fact that stayed in my mind was that Agatha Christie used to live there as well. I know, it is amazing to walk in the house where the magnificent Shakespeare lived and I did enjoy the fact that I was able to see his birthplace. From there we went to Oxford driving through Cotswolds. I do like nature and seeing such a pure beauty was brightening up my day. However, I was in Oxford before and in the Christchurch College as well, yet Deborah managed to surprise me again. I didn't know that there was a little figure of Alice in Wonderland on one of the windows in the dining hall of the College. Just amazing!
As for the prize, it was definitely worth it. I enjoyed the whole trip with my friend and the great tour guide Deborah. I would recommend this tour to anyone I know.
The only thing that I do regret is that I haven't checked the batteries of my camera the day before. I could have taken so many lovely pictures!
