Just as my title clearly summarises it. I have used the service before to send flowers to my mother. The roses were not fresh, and some of them have even withered, especially the leaves. A florist business is extremely hard to ensure high quality, so I do sympathise with them somewhat. However, everyone can argue that Interflora is providing a misinterpretation in the products they are actually selling.
A customer expects them to deliver what they are showing on their website. If you are showing vibrant and beautifully coloured roses, then you should really deliver the same product as illustrated. We do not desire what is illustrated that has been left in a warehouse for days (or weeks), and later squashed in a transport vehicle before arriving at the recipient's doorsteps.
The company deserves 3 stars, as their customer service have been very prompt in responding to my e-mail and sending a further gift of roses to my mother. Though once again, they are another company who fails to understand what a customer wants. It is the product they have ordered, not a pale comparison of what it had been.
