Ordered something at the set price of £58 pounds and paid extra for expedited delivery. According to their own terms they dont have to honor the sale untill a dispatch e-mail is recieved, having recieved this e-mail I was eagerly awaiting my item. However the day after the item was supposed to arrive they 'returned and refunded' the item without my consent. My first gripe was that I noticed they had actually only refunded the price of the item not the full price of item/delivery which is quite sneaky at best. When i contacted them they had said this was due to being unable to locate my address, which in the 5 years I have been using play.com has not changed, after some contact they eventually agreed to refund the small delivery fee. However when I went to reorder the product I noticed the real reason my address had suddenly disappeared was due to the item doubling in price. This breaches play.com's own terms and is seriously bordering the line of breaking consumer laws and it seems as though play is doing this on a mass scale post takeover..
