“Let Down On Mothers Day, Their Busiest Day Of The Year...”

I Have been an Interflora customer for many years. On Thursday last week I ordered for Mothers Day but with a Sat delivery as I knew we would be out for Mothers Day itself. On the Sat I received an email from them stating that my order was being delivered that day. Today(Sun) I find that no delivery took place. I called the number on the email that I had received to be told that the order hadnt been made up yet and that I should call the free number to check what was happening. I did so to be told by an answer machine that due to high demand they would not be taking my call and I shoudl call again later. So I called the first number again to be told by the operator to hang on while he checked, he put the music on and then lifted the receiver and deliberatley cut me off! I called again and spoke to Jake, he couldnt help either, refused to let me speak to anyone else as he was just a salesperson, he couldnt even tell me which florist so that I could go and collect. After a while he said I cant help you and also hung up on me! Its funny how when you call to place an order they answer the call in a few seconds, but are not willing to help customers on what must be the busiest day of the year for flowers. In future I will go to my local florist and deal face to face with a person in a small independant shop, they are generally much better at customer service and do what you ask. I will NEVER use Interflora again, I advise you to do the same!!!!!
