“Awaiting Stock - After placing order!”

Ordered a skylander storage castle for my 5 year old son. On the order screen & advertising screen no mention of "no stock". Placed the order expecting the "3-5 day dispatch" notification that was clearly displayed to be complied with. 2 weeks later, still no product, and the order status still says "awaiting stock".
What a pain in the a**e this company is. Cancelled the order and went out and bought the same product the same day. Have had problems before with play.com, but that was with a 3rd party vendor (watch out for this too!). Any problems play.com dont want to know, and just refer you to the vendor. Basically they seem to be a cowboy outfit with a fancy website.
