“Liars and thieves”

Paid over £80 to hire a van, only to be refused when I arrived at the branch as they would not let me (who wasn't the driver) pay the deposit. Instead, they told me I would get a full refund and recommend I try Europcar around the corner instead. When I phoned to inquire about the refund, I was refused and told that the branch staff didn't know what I was talking about.
Do not use Thrifty. They are liars and thieves and should not be trusted.
On a side note, Europcar were very helpful and allowed me (as a non-driver) to pay the deposit - they were also MUCH cheaper than Thrifty!
