Good Points
This unit has support for almost all the decoding formats(dolby to DTS)not to mention the new EX types. It has simple and easy to use controls with additional buttons for RDS(tuner) functions.
I bought the unit for almost 300$, and for it's price, I could say it's a real steal! It has a lot of preset audio settings you could adjust to your own desired effect.

Bad Points
Has no S-video input/output ports. Quite weak rear surround sound.

General Comments
This Yamaha AR-V440 RDS is one of the best audio receivers at an affordable price!
