“Extremely rude and threatening Weatherseal salesman”

My husband and I are feeling really angry after being called repeatedly yesterday evening by a Weatherseal salesman. I picked up the home phone and told him I`d already asked a lady who had called earlier in the week please not to call us again as we are not interested in buying from Weatherseal (having made the mistake of doing so 6 years ago - not that I went into that)and, also, please not to call again. He replied I didn`t know what he was calling about to which I responded no I didn`t but tell me anyway although I still wouldn`t be interested. He accused me of patronising him so I said goodbye and put the phone down. Immediately after that he called my husband`s mobile and ranted on, my husband told him he wasn`t interested and when the man continued ranting my husband told him to F off. I went out at that point but when I returned home later my husband told me that all evening the phones kept ringing and when the home answerphone kicked in the salesman played really loud ear piercing music (like an ice cream van does - it was still on our answer phone messages for me to hear)until my exasperated husband unplugged the home phone. Unperturbed the salesman called his mobile again and my husband said if he called again he would phone the police and he didn`t call again. Any advice about what action we can or should take would be gratefully received - thanks
