“PHONED FOR MORE INTERNET AND GOT FOR FREE!”

I've heard plenty of complaints regarding Orange and to be fair having an iPhone 4S on pay monthly costs a bomb, £41pm, but I'm a sucker for technology! So I phone Orange to see if there was any way I could get more internet and less minutes (as there's no need for me to have 600 mins a month!). So I started with free texts, 600 mins and 1GB of internet per month. I phoned to see if I could have more internet but less minutes... unfortunately the friendly chap on the phone told me I couldn't change my plan or downgrade it until 6 months into my contract... bummer!... BUT THEN! He calls me back to say no, wait! I can actually offer you an extra 500mb internet WITH NO EXTRA CHARGE! BRILLIANT! What he managed to do was downgrade my plan to £36pm, but without reducing my minutes (how?! who knows!) but then add a £5 extra internet package, so I'm paying exactly the same but for extra internet, GREAT! I really rate Orange for this one - after been with them for years and years I've never actually experienced any bad customer service, although they shop sales people don't bend as easy as the friendly, helpful people on the phones. WELL DONE ORANGE! The only beef I really have with Orange now is the fact that my 3G internet is not great in some places, specifically at my work place! But I do get to connect to BT OpenZones which is a bonus.
