I bought this 2007 D40 as a second hand 2yrs ago with .
Used in outdoor industry, round country trips and also for carrying full load of freshly cut firewood (think more load then permitted).
A little stiff when making sharp turns in 4x4 at low speeds. So far no troubles apart from drivers door lock. Once it wouldn't open from inside. Had to roll window down every time I wanted to get off. Local nissan dealer has been helpful with fixing it. I wonder about all the horror story's from UK as I've had quite good experience with irish nissan dealers.
I'll definitively watch for the fly-wheel.
One lad used to give out about these vehicles as he was a Land Rover purist, now he's got one.
