I was able to purchase with a very average payment processing system an album and a couple of singles on-line. I selected Play.com as I wanted to spread my net away from Amazon.
Purchase completed - they wanted 24 hours to process my order (strange as money had already been approved via on line payment). I waited my 24 hours.
1st email payment received
2nd email payment approved
3rd email music ready to be downloaded.
It failed - they said they were "updating their servers" "routine maintenance" etc.customer service suggested I tried again in 24 hours ...
I wont take you through this loop too many times - but after the 4th attempt to download my paid for music - over 3 days of waiting for Play to complete their "routine maintenance" - I have told them I wanted my money back.
Went onto Amazon - 30 mins ago .. paid for my music - I now have it on my PC ... for less than it would have cost on Play.com. Look shop where you like ... but AVOID Play.com is my advice.
