“Easy to use for first time bloggers”

I previously had a Blogger account that lay dormant for years until I recently decided to start blogging again in earnest. I chose Wordpress as a friend recommended I give it a try. I think there are plenty of great looking templates to choose from and the dashboard is simple to use. They have a great support site with lots of helpful tips and advice from both the staff and other Wordpress members.

I also use the app on Android and find it brilliant for blogging on the go and also for transferring images across without worrying about wires. There are plenty of plug-ins and widgets that can be added too.

The one thing that could be much better is to make custom fonts and layout more user friendly and in the case of fonts - free!

If you want to give blogging a go or want a free way to create a website then I'd say give Wordpress a go.
