“take money to cover staff bonus?”

After having my initial consultation which i was quite happy with at the time, i paid in full. On the day of surgery the surgeon refused surgery as one of the figures on pentogram was not suitable for lasik. This was known before i paid but was still booked and charged for by OE. I have been told this is to ensure staff bonus is achieved ( how unprofessional? ). Hounded them to get refund and have happily booked somewhere else. I am discusted in there aftersales and would advise anyone to go elsewhere.
