It must have been in the 80's that I last flew BA. I recall the last experience was not great - so I was keen to see if things have improved. My god, if anything they have got worst.
1. Rude, grumpy, uncaring, sneering cabin crew. You can tell that the last thing they want to do is to serve you
2. Food - totally inedible. Who last looked at their menu choices? Some army cook?
3. Small things such as a bag of peanuts with your welcome drink, a warm towel, newspaper....all things that are even on cheap airlines are available but missing on BA
Just could not believe the level of customer service. This is the core of every airline and in BA's case, it's rotten to the base.
I would not be surprised to hear the demise of BA soon...there is no way they are going to compete in this competitive industry. I for one will not be travelling with them again, and anyone I speak to will certainly get my views
