To anyone thinking of joining Orange broadband - DONT!
The customer service from the Orange "off shore call centre" (India) is awful. They have not got a clue, all they do is read from a script. When I had a problem they first they told me my micro filters were the faulty - changed them, still not working. Then they decided it was the router - changed that, still not working. Then it was the router they had sent me the week earlier that was faulty - changed that again - STILL NOT WORKING! And then to top it all, they claimed all our equipment was faulty, that's one Apple MacBook, two laptops, an iPad and three iPhones. When I eventually got through to someone in the UK, they were not much better but eventually I got the problem resolved, however by this time the damage was done and I could never again cope with the thought of having to deal with India.
I joined Plusnet who advertise and are proud of the fact they have a UK only based call centre 24/7.
Can't wait for my Orange mobile contract to end, I will cancel that as well for the same reason - Off shore call centre staff who have not got a clue.
